Dan Farmer • DOP • Director/DP • MELBOURNE
I am an Australian director of photography, and director/DP and have been directing, shooting and editing video content for 15 years.
I enjoy working on varied projects – doco’s, branded content, corporate and large commercial projects and have extensive experience in directing, shooting and editing content for these types of projects.
I studied filmmaking in 2006 where I was recognised and awarded for innovative cinematography.
I first came to attention as a Director/DP in 2012 with the Shit on the Liver music video for King Parrot, helping launch the band internationally and touted as ‘arguably one of the best extreme metal videos ever made.’ The clip was selected to compete at the St Kilda Film Festival in 2013.
I can be hired as a Director Of Photography / Camera Operator or Director / DP & Editor. I can also provide full production services from creative development right through to final delivery.
I’ve travelled throughout Australia, Asia, Africa, UK, Europe and South America shooting for brands such as BHP, Ford, Sporting News, Coles, Honda and MMG.
